Our Policies

At Petalouda Aesthetics, every appointment is intentionally scheduled and fully customized. These policies are in place to protect both your time and ours, and to ensure every client receives the highest level of care and attention.

By booking an appointment,
you agree to the following policies:

  • All services must be booked in advance.

    New clients are required to begin with the New Client Facial. This is the only service available for first-time clients and includes a comprehensive consultation and skin analysis to establish a safe, effective, and personalized treatment plan.

    After your first appointment, you will unlock the rest of the service menu and receive personalized treatment and home-care recommendations from your aesthetician based on your skin’s unique needs and goals.

    Certain advanced services require a mandatory consultation prior to booking, including but not limited to:

    • Microneedling

    • Chemical Peels

    • Scar Camouflage

  • A $50 non-refundable deposit is required to secure all facials and treatments at the time of booking.
    Appointments are not considered confirmed without a deposit.

    If a treatment package is purchased, the $50 deposit will be applied toward each scheduled appointment.

  • We require a minimum of 48 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule an appointment.

    • Cancellations or reschedules with less than 48 hours’ notice will result in the loss of the $50 deposit.

    No-shows will be charged 100% of the scheduled service total.

  • This policy allows us to reserve time specifically for you, prepare properly for your treatment, and respect the time of both our clients and practitioners.

  • Please arrive on time for your appointment.

    If you arrive late, your treatment may be shortened to respect the schedule of other clients. Full service pricing will still apply.

    Clients arriving more than 15 minutes late may be asked to reschedule and will be subject to the cancellation policy.

  • All services, packages, and treatments are final sale.

    Due to the personalized and hygienic nature of aesthetic services, no refunds are offered on treatments, packages, or retail skincare products once opened or used.

  • Individual results vary and depend on factors including skin condition, lifestyle, consistency, and adherence to recommended home care.

    Petalouda Aesthetics does not guarantee specific results. Multiple sessions may be required for optimal outcomes, particularly for corrective and advanced treatments.

  • Clients are responsible for fully disclosing all medical history, medications, allergies, and skin conditions prior to treatment.

    We reserve the right to modify or refuse a treatment if it is deemed unsafe, inappropriate, or contraindicated.

  • Post-treatment aftercare instructions are provided to support proper healing and results.

    Petalouda Aesthetics is not responsible for adverse reactions or compromised results due to failure to follow aftercare instructions or treatments received elsewhere.

    Right to Refuse Service

    Petalouda Aesthetics reserves the right to refuse service to any client for reasons including, but not limited to:

    • Contraindications or medical concerns

    • Unrealistic expectations

    • Disrespectful or inappropriate behavior

  • To maintain a calm, professional, and clinical environment, children and additional guests are not permitted unless previously approved.

  • Policies and pricing are subject to change at any time without notice. The most current version will always be available on our website.

  • For your safety and to protect your skin’s health, certain treatments cannot be performed under specific conditions.

  • The following apply to services such as microneedling, chemical peels, resurfacing, and other corrective treatments:

    • Active sunburn or recently overexposed skin

    • Accutane (Isotretinoin) use within the last 12 months

    • Active skin infections, open wounds, or cold sores in the treatment area

    • Uncontrolled diabetes or conditions that significantly impair healing

    • Autoimmune or immune-compromising conditions that affect skin repair

    • Recent radiation or chemotherapy (medical clearance required)

    Use of blood-thinning medications that increase bleeding risk (medical clearance may be required)

  • Corrective and advanced treatments are not performed during pregnancy. However, gentle, hydrating, and relaxing Metamorphosis facials are welcome during pregnancy and can be safely customized.

  • Even if a treatment is not appropriate right now, you are always welcome to book a consultation. We can discuss your skin, review your goals, and create a safe plan for the near future.

    Professional home care is always recommended, as healthy skin is built both in the treatment room and at home. Everyone can have healthy skin — it just needs to be done safely and at the right time.
